Players who are participating in 2 categories must follow the following rules:
In the event of neglect in the official category, prioritizing the category above, the player will be automatically eliminated from the category above by the organization. In the event of a WO being necessary, please always do so in the category above, prioritizing your official category. If there are 3 or more WOs in the official category, and there are no WOs in the category above, the player will be eliminated from the category above. If there are 3 or more withdrawals in the official category, and there are none in the category above, the player will be eliminated from the category above.
Scoring among the top 3 in the official category you will be promoted.
If you are NOT among the top 3 in the official category, but receives access to the category above, you will be promoted to the category.
(Example: Antonio plays in BRONZE [official] and is also participating in BRONZE+.)
If he is among the top 3 in BRONZE+ and is not among the top 3 in BRONZE, he will be promoted to the BRONZE+ category in the next semester.
If you are among the top 3 in the official category and also in the category above, you will receive double access.(Example: Antonio plays in BRONZE and is also playing in BRONZE+. He is among the top 3 in BRONZE and BRONZE+, he will receive direct access to SILVER in the next semester.)
If you are demoted in the OFFICIAL category and not demoted in the category above, you will fall normally.
If you are demoted in the OFFICIAL category and receive access to the category above, you will remain in the OFFICIAL category.
If you are demoted in the category ABOVE and remain in the OFFICIAL category, you will be PROHIBITED from playing in the category above for 1 semester.
This option was developed to add a faster leveling, so that players can have more games per week and increase their technical level, therefore, I ask everyone to follow the rules and enter the competition with physical and schedule conditions to reconcile both categories.
Each category will be divided into 2 groups, where everyone will face everyone else within their respective groups.
All scores will be added up within a single ranking for the respective category.
Example
Category X has 22 players, and players will be distributed according to their last ranking in X1 and X2.
The distribution is as follows:X1 – 1st 4th 6th 8th 10th 12th 14th 16th 18th 20th 22nd X2 – 2nd 3rd 5th 7th 9th 11th 13th 15th 17th 19th 21st
All games played within groups 1 and 2 will be added to the X GENERAL category, which automatically involves the 2 groups.
The top 2 in the X GENERAL ranking, at the end of the matches between everyone in each group, will play the final to define the category champion. The app's tiebreaker criteria will be used. (EXCEPT GOLD).
The top 16 teams (including the loser of the final, that is, from 2nd to 17th place) will play a PLAYOFF to define the 2 PLAYOFF finalists.
Win condition: 3 points
Win condition by WO: 3 points
Lose condition: 1 point
Lose condition by WO: 0 points
Official Week is the week posted in the group in red with the exact dates for the start and end of the round.
This is the week in which the game should be played.
Bonus Week and the week following the official week, where the player can use it to schedule his game, as long as his opponent agrees. This is the deadline for making the round. Any player who needs to anticipate, or use the “bonus” week, will ALWAYS be subject to the availability of his opponent.
NOBODY is obliged to play games outside the official week. It is up to you!
If there is no availability in the bonus week or within the travel voucher, the player missing from the official week will lose by WO.
Any game can be brought forward, as long as it has already been drawn and is agreed upon by the players.
The maximum tolerance for rescheduling games will be 1 week longer than the official one.(Bonus week)The tolerance for the opponent to wait on the day of the game is 15 minutes! After this time, the WO may be applied. If the match is rescheduled by mutual agreement between the parties, this date becomes the new “OFFICIAL” date, and it will be a WO for whoever cancels this new date, therefore, only reschedule the game if you are sure you will be able to play. Every match has a home and away team.
Obligation to contact your opponent to schedule the match.
You must contact them by TUESDAY AT THE MOST of the official week. If the home team does not contact you by Tuesday, they are subject to being forfeited if the opponent no longer has a schedule available. It is recommended that you contact them as soon as the draw is held on Sunday, so as not to miss the deadline.
Bring the balls for the match (new ones)Choose the court where the game will be played.
All responsibility for the court lies with the home team.
Example:
The court is occupied at the time of the game
The rental period expires before the end of the game
The court is not in a condition to play for any reason (wet, closed, under renovation, etc.)
This will give the victory by W/O to the visitor.
If the home team does not contact the court, it will be W.O.
The home team does NOT determine the time of the game, this is agreed between the parties, if there is no agreement on days and times, the game will be canceled and no player will score.
Accept the location set by the home team Attend the game within the agreed time.
Respond to the home team's message by Wednesday 11:59pm at the latest, after which the home team will be free to decide whether or not to hold the game.
The visitor can also contact the home team to make it easier to schedule the game. This is not an obligation, but a courtesy.
Each player will have the CHANCE to reschedule the games in which he is TRAVELING.
How does it work?
A player had to travel and was away for 3 weeks (example), as soon as he returns, he can try to schedule the games he missed as long as his opponents accept. If the opponents are unable to do so, the traveler will be declared a W.O. and will be defeated. This will only apply to TRAVEL.
It is mandatory to send the ticket, hotel reservation or some proof that the trip will take place to the organization, before the START of the trip. The deadline to play the games as soon as you return from a trip is 2 weeks, counting from the date shown on the return flight ticket, and respecting the deadline for the end of the ranking.
If the trip was by another means of transportation, proof of hotel accommodation will be accepted. The travel voucher can be used whenever necessary, however, it will always be necessary to provide proof of travel.
All results must be posted on the RP TENNIS TEAM group table by Sunday 7:00pm. (if played after this time, notify the organization).
Any game that does not have results posted, reaching the deadline (end of the bonus week) will be automatically considered canceled (no player scores).
All scores must be posted, including WO, withdrawals, etc. Both players are responsible for posting.
Draw every Sunday night.
Two rounds will always be drawn to facilitate the game schedule.
Updated standings posted every Sunday night

Depending on the number of participants, each category may have internal groups, where players compete against one another during the six-month season. Weekly matches accumulate points for a semester ranking.
At the end of the season, playoffs are held for players ranked 2nd through 9th. The top two playoff winners, along with the category’s 1st-place player, move up a category. The bottom three players are relegated to a lower category.
Weekly matches are organized by the first-listed player in the match (e.g., Player 1 vs. Player 2; Player 1 schedules the match and provides a new tennis ball). Both players agree on the date, time, and court. Special options like travel vouchers and bonus weeks are available with mutual consent.
Each semester concludes with an OPEN WEEKEND EVENT, offering players the chance to compete within their category or one above. Winning this event grants promotion to the league’s official higher category.
